‘Care Acre transpired after many years of managing a local Authority legal department as a specialist child protection lawyer. We are often seen as the start of a young person’s journey into care. Our sole purpose is to protect children and young people from harm and to make a real difference in their life, for the better.
I wanted to work beyond the confines of the local authority and to develop a service, where we could offer to nurture, love, support and care for children enabling them to turn their young lives around. As a result, our first home, Tulip House, came into being. I am so proud of all that we have achieved.
We provide specialist bespoke therapeutic support and care for Learning Disability and Emotional Behavioral Challenges for children and young people.
Our homes are located in Oxfordshire and we create a nurturing, family – like environment for children and young people aged 7-17 with complex needs. Established in 2020, we provide tailored support and personalised care packages that prioritise safety, well-being, and development. I am to ensure that we achieve the best outcomes for our young people and work hard to maintain a high-quality service, afterall our children are the future and deserve the best opportunities we can provide.’
